Laura, Abertillery, Blaenau Gwent

Photographed with her home town: Six Bells, Abertillery in the background, and above the old mines where her grandfather worked, Laura is a 1st Dan Black Belt in Taekwon Do ITF and a heavy metal music fan.

Laura's vest represents support for the 'Sophie Lancaster Foundation' - a charity that works to promote tolerance and acceptance for others in the name of Sophie Lancaster, who was murdered for being different. As a co-founder of Ember Dance and Co, Laura organises events and fundraisers which involve Belly Dance, Pole, fire and props, to raise money for various charities.
